This afternoon at the San Francisco GLBT History Museum: A young visitor from North Carolina learning about the Compton's Cafeteria Riot of 1966 in the "Gayborhoods" exhibit in our Main Gallery.

"Occasionally I pop through the GLBT History Museum at just the right moment. Here's one of the reasons so many of us are deeply committed to the work of queer public history: A new generation growing up learning about the LGBTQ past from day one."
